Sight Aid for Africa was founded to address the lack of affordable eye care for low-income individuals in my community. The organisation raises funds to support a local eye clinic, providing basic eye care services such as prescription lenses and eyewear to those who cannot afford it. This work has been both challenging and rewarding, as it has helped to improve the quality of life for so many individuals.
It has also been an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community and to see the results of the organisation's efforts firsthand.
To realise our vision, Sight Aid for Africa's mission is to raise funds to support the provision of eye care services, conduct community outreach to raise awareness about the importance of eye health, and provide medical aid such as glasses, drugs, and surgery. We will also advocate for policy changes that will improve access to eye care, and work to train and educate eye care professionals. By doing this, we hope to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of people in Africa.
